Spring Cycle 10km City Ride is the perfect introduction to cycling and an amazing opportunity to get out on your bikes and spend a fun day together. There’s a great atmosphere on the ride, and best of all, the route is completely traffic-free.
The 10km route goes over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, along the Cahill Expressway and through the CBD on closed roads, allowing you to experience Sydney like never before.
This ride is aimed at families, as well as beginners and people keen to get back into cycling. The whole idea behind Spring Cycle is that anyone can take part. If you’re looking for a fun and active day out with the family, this iconic event is not to be missed.
The ride will finish at Pirrama Park, in a celebration of cycling and community spirit! Riders coming together to enjoy a welcoming, family-friendly environment. The park features a playground for the kids, along with breakfast options and coffee carts to kick start and fuel your morning.

Age Restrictions
Children are allowed to ride on a parents bicycle in this ride (children under 8 years must ride on a parents bike). Children who wish to ride independently on their own bicycle must be 8 years or older, children 15 years or younger on the day of the ride must be accompanied by an adult.
Aid Stations
There is no designated rest stop along the route. The start and finish venues on the ride will be equipped with water, toilets and first aid officers, along with food and bike mechanics. Our support crew will also be riding with you to provide assistance if needed.
Helping you get over the Bridge
Each ride is equipped with Route Marshal Volunteers, Ride Crew Bicycle Mechanics, a Sweep/Support Bus, Police, Qualified Traffic Controllers, First Aid Response Teams and a Last Rider to assist you throughout the ride.
