About 50km classic ride
Ride the Bridge. Go the distance.
For riders chasing a real challenge, the 50km Classic Ride takes everything that makes Spring Cycle great and turns it up.
You'll start the same way every Spring Cycle rider does - over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, along the Cahill Expressway and through the CBD on closed roads, past the Opera House and the historic Rocks area. Then the Classic Ride keeps going, out through the diverse Inner West and on towards Parramatta, taking in some of Sydney's best cycling routes along the way.
It's all on sealed roads and cycleways, so whatever you're riding - road bike, hybrid, tandem, or anything else you've got in the shed - you're set up for a smooth 50km.
A finish that matches the effort
Cross the line and you'll earn your official Spring Cycle finisher medal, proof you went the full Classic distance. Then head straight into the Finish Festival with live entertainment, food trucks, community stalls and a proper celebration for everyone who made it.
Why riders choose the Classic
This isn't a race against the clock. It's for people who want to push a little further, see more of Sydney from the saddle, and cross the line knowing they've earned every one of those 50km. First big ride or tenth, the Classic is built for anyone ready to go the distance.
