WHY I SPRING CYCLE

I'm taking on the Spring Cycle In support of my friends, family & all those that need help right now

I'm getting on my bike for Spring Cycle! But I need your help.

Because every 24 seconds, someone in Australia will reach out to Lifeline.
Your support helps provide crucial moments of connection. Please donate now to my Spring Cycle fundraiser.

My ride this October will be a powerful show of support for the more than 3,000 people who urgently need someone to listen each day.

We ride together so that Lifeline can continue to be there 24/7 – so no one has to face their toughest moments alone.

Spring Cycle is a spectacular ride across Sydney's most iconic locations. Your support helps me ride with a greater purpose. Please donate now to support my ride to ensure Lifeline can be there anyway, anytime, for anyone.

MY IMPACT

So far this year, my fundraising has helped Lifeline answer 13 calls for people in crisis who need someone to listen.

Why I'm Spring cycling

Tuesday 8th Sep

My cycling journey:

I started cycling in March, faced with a lot of discomfort, challenges and fears. I began to set small goals until i felt comfortable to do more and now I love to cycle everywhere!

Setting small goals is a new skill i’ve learnt. One that can help others who are also struggling with uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that hold them back from doing things they're capable of, even when their mind tells them otherwise.

For our friends:

I'm raising money to help others access the support they need, so they too can begin setting small goals and making a difference in their own lives. Sometimes all it takes is one small step, one uncomfortable moment faced instead of avoided, to remind us that we're capable of more than our fear tells us.

Lifeline gives people that first step. A voice on the other end of the line when things feel too heavy to carry alone. A reminder that reaching out is not weakness, but one of the bravest things we can do.

Finding comfort in discomfort is something I teach in my yoga classes, and something I repeat to myself everyday. Life is challenging and uncomfortable, and recognising your struggles is a strength, not a weakness. We don't have to have it all figured out, we just have to be willing to take the next small step.

To all our friends, close and far, still with us and those who are not - this is for you.
