Just here to finish

After the four of us completed last year's 14km City2Surf and raising an incredible $4,798 for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation, we started looking for our next charity fundraiser. This year, we’ve found it in cycling the 50km Spring Cycle on 11 October 2026 while trying to raise $2,000 for Lifeline. We're not sure we'll match last year's total helped considerably by some generous 1 for 1 matching donations! - but we're going to give it a good go.

This cause is particularly meaningful to our family.

Suidice affected someone I'd known since childhood, who I later went to law school with. We were never close, with different interests and personalities, but we'd always say hello. While I was overseas working, he died by suicide. It was a huge shock and we've remained in touch with his family who have been deeply affected by his death.

The money we raise will help Lifeline continue to be there 24/7 - so no one has to face their toughest moments alone. Your support will help provide crucial moments of connection when someone is overwhelmed by life's challenges.

Kilyun, Han and Hannah will all be cycling their furthest ever distance! Kilyun has committed to the training notwithstanding a recent operation. Han is stuck right into it again and rearing to go. Hannahm, as usual, wasn't initially super keen, but after one of our training sessions she has started to find her own route maps and places to cycle to! I continue to squeeze these in between road biking efforts. 

We're looking forward to another slightly ridiculous family challenge, and we'd be incredibly grateful for whatever you can contribute.
