WHY I SPRING CYCLE
I'm taking on the Spring Cycle In memory of my niece , Zoe
I'm getting on my bike for Spring Cycle! But I need your help.
Last year, my family experienced the loss of someone we loved to suicide.
It changes the way you think about mental health, about the people around you, and about just how important it can be to have someone there when things feel impossible.
That’s why I’ve decided to use my 50km Spring Cycle ride to raise money for Lifeline.
Every 24 seconds, someone in Australia reaches out to Lifeline. Behind every one of those calls is a person who needs someone to listen, someone to talk to, or simply someone to be there.
I wish no family had to experience that kind of loss.
I know a 50km bike ride can’t change what happened, but maybe it can help Lifeline be there for someone else when they need it most.
So this October, I’ll be riding with a little more purpose.
